On display at Fischer Boatworks in Detroit.

Fischer agreed to pay for the rail freight to ship DAMSEL from the Coleman plant in New York on the condition Grandpa Carl would leave her there on display for the winter.  So he got the first Rhodes Bounty on the Great Lakes and free storage… I wonder how many times they drove across the state to look at her that first winter.

Built upside down on a production line. It was a first.  The Coleman company asked Phillip Rhodes to design a new one design racer cruiser for “mass”  production.
